Support and Pastoral Care
Following advice from the government, the Church of England and the Trussell Trust, the Food Bank in Tring church is Open. There will be a volunteer on duty every week day from 10 am - 12 noon. Please leave donations in the blue box in the porch during these times only, if you are out shopping or exercising. The Food Bank is for emergency support.
Outside of those hours please call Chris 07939 137105.
Those at home who need support
We are in the process of matching our many offers of help with those that we know need extra support. So far, most of the people we have spoken too feel looked after and well supported by family and friends. But the need will probably get greater in the coming days and weeks. If you are in need or know of someone who is please call us

Michelle 01442 851200
Sarah 07538 888502
Thank you to all who have offered to help in any way so far. There is a lot of support within the community and these networks work best if the are very local, with each street making sure they all look after each other.
During this crisis we are sorry but we will not be able to ask anyone over the age of 70 to volunteer, apart from calling other people.
We are aware that, with the current regulations of a grave side service only or limited numbers of people at the crematorium, this will be a difficult time for some families. Coming soon on the resources page will be ideas of how to pray at home. We will also be happy to enable memorial services to happen in church once this crisis is over.
We have a list of local suppliers offering supplies and services in a different way to how they normally would. Thanks to Tring's Peace and Justice Group for providing the information and keeping it up to date.
