LATEST COVID UPDATE
The news of a new national lockdown does not mean our churches have to close. You can leave home to attend or visit a place of worship for communal worship. We, along with churches up and down the country, have been working hard to ensure that our churches are Covid-secure spaces. The fact that the government has not suggested that we suspend public worship even in tier 4 is a tribute to how effective this work has been. Our churches remain open for public worship and individual prayer. Bishop Alan has asked us to continue to conduct worship in church, even if it is only a small group. To go alongside this we will provide a wide range of online services. In particular those who are shielding should access services from home. We will obviously need to keep this under continuous review assessing the local situation.
Welcome to the
Tring Team Parish
WELCOME
Please explore our website to discover all that it going on. Hard as it is at the moment to have face to face conversations we'd still like to get to know you.
Who we are
The Tring Team Parish is the Church of England in Tring, Aldbury, Long Marston, Wilstone and Puttenham. We are a community celebrating and working out our faith through many different styles of prayer and worship. We do our best to live and share God’s love in this modern world through services, social events and service to the community around us. We try and do a lot together so please explore this site or give us a call.
Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is traditionally observed from the 18th to the 25th January – the octave of St. Peter and St. Paul.
The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in 2021 has been prepared by the Monastic Community of Grandchamp in Switzerland. The theme that was chosen, “Abide in my love and you shall bear much fruit”, is based on John 15:1-17 and expresses Grandchamp Community’s vocation to prayer, reconciliation and unity in the Church and the human family.
For 2021, the sisters are inviting churches across the world to enter into their tradition of prayer and silence that is rooted in the ancient traditions of the Church catholic.
Locally in Tring we pray for unity with other Churhes using the prepared material found below, and we are planning to have a zoom service on Sunday 24th January. Please email Jane for more details.

On Wednesday 14th October we had our AGM
As part of this we made a little film of all the things we have been up to since last year's AGM. This year it covers an 18 month period.
We hope you enjoy the film. If you are new to the Tring Team it might show you a little about us. If you are a long term member it may bring back some memories.
Make a donation
During this difficult time we haven't been able to rely on collections at services but we continue to work hard as church...
... opening when we can, meeting virtually for prayer services and fellowship, loving our neighbours by offering practical support to the vulnerable, and caring for our communities. The work of our church is reliant on people’s generosity, a generosity that is a hallmark of a lived-out faith and a testament to it.
Thank you for your support!
