Are you thinking about getting married in church?
You're welcome to marry in the Church of England whatever your beliefs, whether or not you are christened and regardless of whether you go to church or not. It's your church, and we welcome you! We are here to help you prepare for your wedding day.
Our churches are worshipping communities where throughout the generations couples have come to have their love for each other blessed by God and to make solemn vows of lifelong commitment in front of God and His people.
Couples often describe how a church wedding feels “more proper”. It's God’s blessing that makes it proper and everyone is welcome to receive that blessing, even if you are not a regular attendee. We will help you plan your service so that your friends and family can take part and witness you making your vows of love to each other. If you have a dream for your wedding then don't be afraid to ask, it might just be possible!
We have churches in Tring, Aldbury, Puttenham, Long Marston and Wilstone. If you live within the Tring Team Parish you are able to get married in any of our five churches. The first thing to do is to call or email the minister responsible for the church in which you would like to be married. If you are not sure which church you would like to use call anyone of us and we can help advise. The image gallery below shows some photos of weddings in our churches.
